Due to the generosity of Fundação Vox Populi (www.fvp.pt), a Portuguese charity established in Lisbon, it is possible one more time to pay the annual rent of Thaiba Shelter.

Thaiba shelter is a house located in Kathmandu, where 8 Nepali children live under the supervision of the couple Tej and Shanti. Some of these children have no other family, or in some cases their relatives are extremely poor and live in villages very far from Nepal’s capital.

Living in this shelter is their only opportunity to have an education, a good nutrition and hygiene. We are immensely proud of the work of Tej and Shanti and therefore we keep supporting them in several areas.

The total cost of the house they live in is around 3000€ per year and this time, Fundação Vox Populi is donating this value and making this dream possible! If we did not find a donator to pay this expense these children would have to live on the street…
