Another remarkable year for the project Dreams of Kathmandu. After 7 years we maintain our goals and ambition, and we  keep helping the population of Nepal in the areas of housing, nutrition, health and mainly education.

Through our fundraising efforts in the last year it was possible to collect a total of 22.054€ and apply them in the projects and people we know so well. This wouldn’t be possible without the strong community that supports us year after year. It’s them who keep this project alive. Thank you so much to everyone that believes and gets involved.

Currently, the three main projects we are helping are the Sharadas Shelter Center, Rainbow Volunteer Club and the old children that used to live in Camp Hope. Nevertheless, we also help other individuals like Samir Bista in the village of Bistagaon or the son of Mingma Sherpa.

Our criteria hasn´t changed. We help those in need and we help projects we know well. We also make sure to present pictures, invoices and all the information we can regarding each project.

The two highlights of this year were:

-          The project of 50 Marathons in 50 days done in Japan that allowed us to fundraise 14. 238,18€.

-          Also for the first time, we decided to help outside Nepal and we gave a major contribution to the homeless community in Portugal.

All the results can be found in the table below. It’s been 7 years of hard work, during which 90 dreams have been achieved. 90 situations that we have done an intervention to help someone in need. It’s amazing!!
