Dream #55

The first wave of the program #NoHunger in Kathmandu, Nepal, ended last week.

This program lasted a total of 6 weeks, and we are very proud to announce the results of this project formed by the partnership between Dreams of Kathmandu and Rainbow Volunteer Club:

-10650 meals given,

-2952 bottles of water,

-10000 masks,

-20 litres of disinfectant gel,

-And we also helped around 20 individual families and dozens of police officers who were on the streets to help implement the lockdown.

 

In terms of expenses, these were divided as follows:

-Week 1: €476.6

-Week 2: €493.8

-Week 3: 555.8€

-Week 4: 587€

-Week 5: €610

-Week 6: 461.5€

Total: €3184.7

 

To be as transparent as possible, I publish here all the donors of this project. This is the formula that we will always continue to apply: collect funds, make things happen on the ground, report everything and show the application of donations.

This food program will happen again whenever it is justified. But for now, I want to thank all those who mobilized and participated in this action to minimize the suffering of thousands of people who were starving in Nepal due to the pandemic and the country's new lockdown.

I'm very proud of all of this, thank you all. I show here some pictures of the impact of this program for the people and children of Nepal. The images speak for themselves.
