Dream #52

The first stage of Project X is now finished. And we are incredibly happy to announce that we collected a total of 5038€ for scholarships in Nepal, to the project Dreams of Kathmandu! 

Or in other words, this humanitarian adventure in Kenya, stage number 1 of Project X, was a tremendous success! We can’t wait for Stage 2.

And today, Friday the 21st of May of 2021, is the day to start applying those funds.

So, it is with great joy that we announce that we have already transferred to Nepal, the funds for the scholarship of our dear Simran Arohi Sharma, former inhabitant of Camp Hope in Kathmandu. The cost of her scholarship for this year is 125,000 rupees or €960.

Simran has now finished class 12 in science at the Trinity College, and next year she will go to University. She still has to take her final exams, but her dream is to be a nurse. We will do everything possible to make this happen.

This scholarship will be financed by some donations that we already had, and by Project X as follows:

Graça Barata - 50 €

António and Margarida Ferrador - 250 €

Filipa Naldinho Lopes - 30 €

Ana Barroso - 20 €

Project X - 610 €
