Education.

Education is the main pillar of human development and is the area that we are most committed to supporting in Nepal through our Project Dreams of Kathmandu.

So, it is with great pride that we announce that for the third consecutive year, we will finance the scholarships of the brothers Mingmar and Tenzing Sherpa, at the Mount Kalaish school in Kathmandu.

Mingmar is in the 9th grade and Tenzing in the 7th. They are both excellent students and we will continue to help them with their studies, so that they can dream and have a future. I remember that both were inhabitants of the old Camp Hope in Kathmandu, and they lost their homes on the day of the earthquake in 2015.

All of this is only possible thanks to the determination and courage of our friend Pedro Bento. The same guy that two years ago went by bike from Portugal to Kathmandu (see Dream #23), this time raised 766 € with the Everesting challenge! For two days he rode up and down on a bicycle in the highest mountain of Portugal (Serra da Estrela), until he reached the height of Mount Everest: 8848 meters.

Bravo Pedro you are simply inspiring!!! With this amount of € 766, we will then pay this year's scholarships to Mingmar and Tenzing.
