Dream #48

Dream #48

Pasang Dorje Sherpa or simply Anand, was one of the first children we met in Nepal 6 years ago. He was one of the kids that lived in Camp Hope, the temporary home in a football field in Kathmandu for 350 people after having their houses destroyed in the earthquake day. He was always a cheerful child and owned a beautiful voice. When we heard him sing for the first time, we could not believe in the power of his voice, it was just stunning!

Unfortunately, and after 6 years, his family situation is extremely complicated. They simply can't afford to pay his studies. His only support has been an uncle who lives in the village of Yarmasing, one of those villages where the people of Camp Hope came from and we are helping to rebuild.

But now this situation will CHANGE because we decided to support Pasang with a scholarship through our project Dreams of Kathmandu. He is currently in class 11 at Bahrabise School and in addition to tuition we will pay for books, materials, and school uniform! We are so happy for him!

We will support this Dream with the sales of the book “My Way to Kathmandu” that we did last Christmas. In total we sold 37 books, which gives a donation of 370€ to help Pasang! If you are interested in buying this book please contact us and we will be happy to send you one, the price is 15€.
