It's been 3 years and 2 months since we started this project Dreams of Kathmandu.

And during this whole time, I don't remember a period with so many messages, donations, support and help! I don't remember a period with so much energy and love! Thank you so much to everyone who is getting involved, sharing and donating. It means a lot to us and it means a lot to the people of Nepal.

Dream 43 is another Christmas Dream! And just like the song said: "Let them know it's christmas time!!", we wanted the children of Nepal to know it's christmas!! We want them to know that they are loved, that they matter and that we are here for them... especially those ones without their families...

So we decided to make something very special on Christmas Day for the 14 children of Sharadas Shelter and the 8 children of Thecho Shelter. In total 22 children.

First we used a 100€ donation of Eliana Chouzende and we paid the Christmas evening meal for all of them!! In Sharadas they had Pizza and in Thecho they had chicken!! And also we decided to give each child an envelope with 1000 Ruppes (around 7,5€), so they can spend in a book or some clothes or something they really need. Fo this gift, which costed a total of 165€, me and Ghazal paid 85€, while Luis Ferreira and Andreia Nogueira, (the couple who voluntereed in Nepal last year in Sharadas Shelter remember?), paid 80€.

In total this Dream costed 265€ and we made 22 children really happy!! And for this reason we are really happy too! Check the pics below, they make our hearts really full!
