ACTIVITY REPORT YEAR #3

 Happy Birthday DREAMS OF KATHMANDU!

We are now in the year 3 of our project Dreams of Kathmandu in Nepal, and we are very happy to present the results of our activities. 

Me, Pedro Queirós, and my wife Ghazal Vaziri, we are very happy with all the achievements made in the last 3 years in Nepal and we are keen in continue supporting projects and people that we believe in. 

More than ever, there are a lot of needs but people keep trusting us and making donations, and this gives us a lot of responsability and strenght to continue.

Nepal is one of the most poor countries in the world and we want to continue helping in a sustainable way. In other words, development is something that takes time, and by helping in the areas of education, housing, nutrition and health, we want to contribute to the future of the people that we are supporting. We belive that this will benefit the future generations.

We also believe transparency is a key factor for the sucess of this project so, every year we show all the funds we collect and the destination of those same funds. Once more we want to reinforce a principle that is not negotiable for us: 100% of the money we collect is for the people of Nepal and the for the projects of Dreams of Kathmandu.

This last year we managed to make 12 dreams come true. We applied a total of 9.491€ and we estimate to have benefited the lifes of 293 people. The origin and application of all the funds is shown on the table below.

In terms of projects we are still committed to help the old habitants of Camp Hope (especially scholarships for the children), the village of Bistagaon, located in the south of Kathmandu and the children from Sharadas and Thaiba Shelters. At the moment this is the capacity we have. We don't want to give steps bigger than our legs. In the future, if it´s possible we want to get involved in more projects!
