Do you remember Luis and Andreia from Portugal? The nice young couple that volunteered last summer in Sharadas Shelter in Kathmandu? Take a look at Dream #22, all the information is there. Here are some pictures of those days in 2019,

This portuguese couple did an amazing job last summer, and since then their hearts have never left Nepal. They keep a regular contact with the 14 children that live in Sharadas Shelter and also the nepalese couple that runs the place, Milan and Sharadas.

We spoke to Luis and Andreia in May of 2020, in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and we discussed the needs for the current difficult times. There is always need for groceries and other basic expenses like clothes or personal hygiene. But for this year, they told us they wanted to do a fundaraising and get involved in the education of the children.

So, together, we decided they would try to get funds for school books, materials and also a laptop. Because Nepal is still in lockdown, most of classes are given online. 

In the end they managed to fundraise 808€ that were used according to the plan! Check the pictures below and see how we made things happen! Thank you so much Luis and Andreia! Once again, you guys made a real difference in the lives of these children!
