Dream #33
It is now one year, that our dear friend Pedro Bento arrived in Kathmandu after travelling 10.000 kms in a bicycle between Portugal and Nepal!! Remember the story? We have told it in Dream #23 (https://dreamsofkathmandu.blogspot.com/2019/08/dream-23.html)
What an incredible journey that was, especially because Pedro managed to fundraise a lot of money to help social projects not only in Portugal but also in Nepal!
At the time, besides helping with a donation of 1500€ to the scholarships of Mingmar and Tenzing Sherpa, when Pedro arrived to Nepal, he also decided to donate 150€ to help a new kid that has just entered in the Thaiba Shelter, one of the projects we love the most in Dreams of Kathmandu.
The name of this kid is Amen Ranabhat and he is 11 years old. By the time he entered the shelter, funds were needed to help Amen with his school fees, uniform and books!
Thank you so much Pedro Bento for your help. Some may think it's not a big value but you made a dream come true to a child in the area that it most matters: education!!!
