Happy Birthday DREAMS OF KATHMANDU!

It's 1 year today that our project, DREAMS OF KATHMANDU, was lauched from the top of the world: Everest Base Camp. As showed in the pictures below it was exactly in 17.10.2017, one year ago.

In our first year we have achived AMAZING results in the projects we are involved. In total, we made 13 Dreams come true, we donated 16.851€ and we impacted the lifes of 242 people! 

Not bad for one year work.

We believe that we have made a positive impact with the people of Camp Hope, Bistagaon village, Sharadas Shelter and Thaiba House. We have also helped to build two houses in the region of Dhulikhel, East of Kathmandu, for the families of Saraswoti Adhikari and Keshvar Neupani, respectively Dreams number 1 and 9.

Dreams of Kathmandu helped buiding houses, paid medical expenses, gave motorbikes, scolarships, shoes, washing machines, computers, heaters, furniture, bunk beds, food, fruit and much much more!

But most important of all, we have made things happen with our OWN HANDS. We met with the people in need, human beings we call friends and family, and we made their DREAMS come true. 

We were there for them. We did not abandon them. We looked in their eyes, made promises and we made things happen. 

This is what this project is all about!

And because TRANSPARENCY is very important for us, the table below shows the "investments" we made in each Dream and the source of the donation.

On the 1st year of our activity we want to say THANK YOU to the people that support us. Without you guys nothing could have been done: Ana Sá, Ed Turner, Matt Norley, Rosário Norley, Isabel Vitória, Laura Xavier, Margarida Lima, Graça Cerqueira Jorge, Luis Ribeiro, Fátima Queirós, Dina Cruz, Ricardo Henriques, Milan from Sharadas, Tej from Thaiba, Bablu from Bistagaon, Sangita Shreshta from Dwarikas Foundation and everyone who bought the book "My Way to Kathmandu".
