Dream #9
Dream #9
We continue our efforts to help the people of Nepal and we have many new projects coming ahead. In the coming May, me and Ghazal are also planning to visit the country. It will be a new opportunity to see our friends and get an update on the projects that Dreams of Kathmandu is supporting.
But for now it is with great happiness that we announce Dream #9!
Keshav Neupani is 29 years old and he lives in Dhulikhel, a village around Kathmandu. He works for Hotel Dwarikas and this is how me and Ghazal got a chance to know him. He is married to Gyanu and they have a son of 5 years old, Kushal.
After the earthquake we visited Keshav and promised him we would help him rebuiding his house that was totally destroyed on the earthquake of 25th April 2015.
They finally started rebuiding the house and it looks very solid, clean and well built. They used old windows, doors and 6.000 bricks from the previous house that collapsed. Bravo!
But still they need some help for extra materials so Dreams of Kathmandu will support them with 500€! These funds will come once again from the book selling we have been promoting. Do you already have yours? You can contact us in pedro_queiros@hotmail.com and buy it for 15€.
This is a major help for this Nepalese family. We investigated their income and expenses and they really deserve, since they are very honest people, hard workers and have a small debt with the bank.
See you in the next Dream. Until there keep supporting us!
