Dream #85

Dream #85

I still remember playing with her 9 years ago. Today she has grown and became a child full of life, curiosity and with an amazing future ahead of her!

Alya Sherpa was one of the many hundreds of children living at Camp Hope in Kathmandu back in 2015. A camp for displaced people that we helped build with our own hands after the devastating earthquake that occurred in Nepal.

Little Alya no longer remembers those days, but I do. I will never be able to forget the images of misery, pain and destruction that I saw... and that is why we will always continue to help as much as we can... yesterday, today and tomorrow. It is the difference we make in the lives of others that determines the meaning of our own lives.

It is with great pride that we announce that for the second year in a row, through the project Dreams of Kathmandu project, we will continue to support Alya Sherpa's education. The cost is 50,000 rupees or €350, and will be fully financed by our dear donor Cristiana Rodrigues.

Thank you Cristiana and thank you to everyone who continues to support this cause. There is still a lot of work to be done in Nepal and we will not abandon the promises we made.
